What are the New Biomes in Minecraft the Garden Awakens?

The new biome in Minecraft The Garden Awakens is the pale garden, a variant of the dark forest biome. Inside, one will find a monochrome and quiet landscape covered in pale oak trees, pale moss, hanging moss, and eyeflowers. There is also a new mob found in pale garden known as the creak, which we will discuss further below.

Those looking for pale gardens will have better luck looking near biomes with high humidity, such as birch forests, dark forests, and wilderness. The /biome location command can also be used for those who don’t mind commands.

Creaky

Pale oaks can appear with a creaking heart within them, and at night, these blocks will let the creaking out to roam nearby. Creaks are mobs of enemies that are immune to all damage but with the main weakness of not being able to move while on screen. To defeat its creaking, one must find its creaking heart and destroy it.

To find the creaking heart, hit the creaking chasing it once. This will cause a line of particles to appear showing where the creaking heart is. Additionally, each blow to the creak causes globs of resin to appear on the pale oak blocks surrounding the heart, making the tree in which it hides easier to spot.

Once found, cut through the heart with an ax to get one to three lumps of resin. Those who have a magic ax with a silky touch can collect the creaking heart without breaking it.

Creaking Heart

Vertically stacking pale oak logs followed by a creaking heart and then another pale oak log will cause the creaking heart to activate and create a creaking sound wherever desired. A squeaky heart can also be made using a resin block and two pale oak sticks. A creaking heart that is collected and made functions the same as a naturally produced heart.
