Ocarina Of Time Has A Hidden Room You Never Knew Existed

1998 may go down in history as one of the greatest years in the world of gaming. Of course, if you remember gaming back then, your knees probably hurt in the rain (like mine), but the quality of games that came out that year was simply amazing. We don’t just get games like that Solid Metal Fittings, Half Time, Banjo-Kazooie And Evil Residence 2we also get one of the greatest RPG adventures of all time. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time first appeared on our small screens in 1998, and we’ve been uncovering its secrets ever since.

One secret you may not know (I know I didn’t) is a hidden area in the final dungeon. Thanks to the commentators on X, we now know this secret area at the end of the game. The journey to Ganondorf’s challenge is truly exciting, and many eager adventurers have probably passed through this hidden area without realizing it. Once you enter the castle, there is a drop off to the side of the stairs in the main hall. If you drop down and come back on yourself, there’s a small hidden room to explore.

The room is easy to miss, but for those who find it, there are many hidden treasures for the perfectionists among us. Inside the room, you’ll find lots of fairies to collect and a bunch of pesky deku scrubs popping up and down. If you unplug, they offer items that you can but it’s good. These purchasable items combined with some rescue fairies might be just what you need to give you the edge in these late-game dungeons.

Of course, for some die-hard fans, this isn’t news. Many people in the thread expressed that this is old news to them and that many dungeons in the game have hidden rooms like this. One such commenter said:

You already knew that in 1998, if you looked closely at the game. There are also tips in the game. The fire temple and Dodongo cave etc also have hidden rooms. So it’s nothing unusual with Ganon šŸ˜…

While others reveal great tips for clearing hidden rooms quickly:

It was quite a famous place. Did you know that you can use the Megaton Hammer to force all the Business Scrubs at once just by hitting the floor?

With The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time being almost 28 years old, it’s still amazing that some of us fans are learning new tips and hidden secrets all these years later. With The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is officially coming later this year, it’ll be fun to see if all these hidden treats make it into the new version of the game. Will the remake be a 1:1 remake or a reimagining? Time will tell.

With it being the 40th anniversary The Legend of Zelda franchise, it’s great to see we’re still seeing new content for the game and perhaps learning new tricks we didn’t know about before. Now we know The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is officially coming soon, what’s next? The remake of Majora’s Mask will certainly make fans excited. Hopefully, Nintendo has a few more secrets to reveal before the year is out.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a ā€œmoney siteā€ in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as ā€œlink juiceā€) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
